Am I a good fit for your products?

Our products are designed for the majority of common skin needs and goals. Dark spots? Yep. Aging? Absolutely. But, we're still working to develop formulas for acne-prone skin. If this is your primary concern, hang tight and we'll have something for you in the near future.

For skin conditions that typically require medical care, such as eczema or rosacea, we recommend you seek extended care from a medical professional.

How long will it take to receive my custom skincare?

Once you finish your skin profile and at-home skin test, we'll analyze your results and customize formulas with key ingredients for your skin. Skincare products will ship automatically, typically within 2 - 4 business days of completing your skin analysis. If you're eager to get your new skincare routine started, be sure to complete both parts of the skin analysis ASAP.

Who makes my custom formulas?

All of our products are carefully formulated by Pure Culture's team of skincare experts. We use clean, effective ingredients, ethically sourced and backed by science, in personalized combinations to match your skin's goals and needs. Learn more about what’s inside your skincare.

Can I use your products if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?

Congratulations, and yes! All of the ingredients we use are safe for expecting and breastfeeding mothers, so there's no need to let us know before we personalize your skincare and routine.

Can I sample the products before I buy?

We don't offer sample sizes due to the custom nature of our products. We suggest beginning with our starter kit - your skin analysis allows us to personalize skincare and a routine that will make you glow.

Can I use SPF with your products?

Our skincare does not contain SPF. We recommend applying SPF before you head outdoors and reapplying SPF regularly during prolonged sun exposure. Wearing a hat is a great way to give your skin an extra layer of protection, too.

Skin analysis

What does the skin analysis include?

Our skin analysis combines an online skin profile questionnaire with an at-home skin test, to provide us with comprehensive insight into your unique skin needs. The skin profile includes a brief series of questions about your skin goals, lifestyle and environment. The at-home skin test kit will ship directly to you, so you can easily measure your skin barrier and skin condition from the comfort of home. No need to send anything back to us, just input your answers into your Pure Culture account and we'll craft formulas for your unique skin.

Why do I have to complete the skin analysis to purchase skincare from you?

The skin analysis is essential for providing your tailored formulas and a routine that supports your skin's specific needs, your complexion goals, your lifestyle, and the environment you live in. You can purchase a starter set of products, but we won't know which ingredients to include in your custom skincare until you've completed your skin analysis. Don't worry! The skin analysis is simple and only takes 15-20 minutes to complete.

Can I complete the skin test at home? Or do I have to mail something back to you?

We'll mail the skin test kit directly to you, and you can complete it at home whenever you are ready. No need to mail anything back to us - just log your results in your Pure Culture account.

How long will it take to complete the skin analysis?

The skin analysis takes about 15 - 20 minutes, from start to finish.

Plan on 5 - 10 minutes to complete your skin profile, and about 10 - 15 minutes for your at-home skin test. If it's easier for your schedule, you can complete the skin profile before the at-home skin test is delivered.

And please note: for best results we recommend doing the at-home skin test in the morning, before you wash your face or apply products.

How quickly will I get my skin analysis results?

Right away! As soon as you complete your skin analysis we'll analyze the data and personalize your skincare formulas and routine.

If you purchased the Pure Culture starter set, your skincare products will ship automatically, typically within 2 - 4 business days of completing your skin analysis. If you did not purchase a starter set, products typically ship within 2 - 4 business days of skincare purchase date.

Can I update my skin analysis?

Are all your ingredients clean?

We only use ingredients that meet global clean beauty standards. All of our ingredients and materials are ethically sourced, and our partners must meet our highest standards. Click here to learn more about the ingredients we use.

Are your products paraben, sulfate, mineral oil and phthalate free?

Our products are 100% free of parabens, sulfates, mineral oil and phthalates. Transparency in ingredients is paramount for us. To find out which clean, effective ingredients we do use, click here.

Are your products vegan?

Yes! All of our formulations are vegan and cruelty-free.

Do you test on animals?

No way! All of our skincare is cruelty-free.

Are your products pH balanced?

Yes, all of our skincare is pH balanced to help achieve and maintain healthy skin.

Is your packaging recyclable?

Being kind to our planet is extremely important to us. We use recyclable packaging to minimize our impact. Our skincare bottles are glass, our cleanser tubes are made from sugarcane and our paper products are FSC certified. As always, check with your local recycling facility to ensure these materials are recyclable in your neighborhood. Or better yet, reuse the packaging for a crafty project.

Shipping and returns

My package was marked as delivered, but I didn't receive it—is it lost?

Try checking any hidden areas at your delivery location, since your shipping carrier may have left your package where it's not easily visible for security. If you still can't find it, don't fret. Carriers sometimes mark packages as "delivered" before they've dropped off. Please contact your carrier directly if it's been more than two hours since you received the delivery notification.

Do you offer international shipping?

Not right now. We only sell and ship our products within the United States.

What is your return policy? What are my options if I'm not totally satisfied with my products?

We’re confident that your custom skincare routine will help deliver a healthy, nourished complexion. If you try it, and don't love it, contact us within 30 days for a complimentary reformulation or refund.

Orders and billing

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Paypal, Google Pay and Pure Culture gift cards.

Do you store my payment info?

Never. We do not store any payment information.

Can I use multiple promo codes on a single order?

Nope! Only one promo code per order, please.

Gifting

Can I buy skincare products as a gift for someone else?

We tailor formulas to each person's unique skin, so gift cards are the best way to give the gift of Pure Culture Beauty.

How does the gift card process work? Do you automatically send the gift card?

Your recipient will receive an email with your personalized message and link to redeem the gift card. Planning ahead? You can pick the date of delivery, too. You'll receive a confirmation email once the gift card has been delivered.

How do I redeem my gift card?

After adding items to your cart and starting the checkout process, you'll be able to enter your gift card number and select "apply."

Do gift cards expire?

Gift cards do not expire. We'll be here to get you started when you're ready.
